Operational Efficiencies
Audits
The company has a robust internal audit program and regular internal and external compliance audits from our customers and the Department of Civil Aviation. SGi are being regularly audited by Air Safety Navigators, Litson & Associates, and SGS Australia on behalf of our client base, and the Flight Safety Foundation in respect to attaining BARS Accreditation, of which SGi holds Gold Status.
Training
Training is crucial to SGi’s performance and has led the way in upskilling employees in Indonesia with the latest safety standards for aviation operations. Where possible SGi does all training in-house to ensure quality. Where this would not meet industry-best standards, SGi sends its personnel to external accredited training facilities.
Bali Base
SGi’s Bali Base has an operation Flight Following Centre which has VHF and HF ground-to-air radio communications as well as Real Time Flight systems which are monitored by our operations Flight Following Centre daily, from first departure until last arrival of all our aircraft in Indonesia.
KPI Reporting
KPIs play a key role in any successful company that wants to meet its contractual and organizational objectives successfully. The KPI report tracks trends and has been a key part of improving efficiencies at all our resource partners’ operations. It is bespoke and can be tailored to suit CLIENT’s operations.
Planning / Forecasting
SGi provides a 3-month rolling maintenance plan to all its partners. This is reported monthly in the same way as KPI. This maintenance planning is a key component to ensuring an efficient and continuous operation. SGi, in turn, aligns selected suppliers of the maintenance plan, thus ensuring a constant supply chain.
Satellite Tracking System
SGi currently operates the Spidertrack WEB-based GPS tracking system, allowing both customers and operators to track aircraft in real-time at a predetermined interval, updated every minute.
SGi has a manned operations centre with tracking in place and a backup paging system. The system allows overlays to be tailored for each client including seismic lines, rig sites, restricted areas, etc.

SGi operates a DGCA approved maintenance facility which provides full in-house maintenance and spares support for all our aircraft. In addition, SGi carries a large inventory of spare parts and components for our aircraft.
