About Us

Where it all Begin…

In 2001, entrepreneur Tonny Mulyadi and partners founded Air Bali in Bali, aiming to enhance flight tourism with innovation. Starting with one helicopter, they provided scenic flights, medical evacuations, and surveys. The base in Ngurah Rai International Airport reflected their commitment. Expanding in 2004, they acquired AOC Part 135, PT. Sayap Garuda Indah, expanding services including seaplanes. In 2006, they transitioned to Piper Chieftain PA-350, introducing Piper Cheyenne fleet in 2007.

Challenges in 2009-2010 halted operations, but partnership with Sir Michael Bromley in 2011 led to “HELISGI.” Fresh capital brought fleet expansion, Benoa Hangar, and contracts. HELISGI entered AOC Management in 2013, adding Cessna 206T2 and Bell helicopters. Achieving BARS accreditation in 2015 and Gold status in 2016 marked progress. In 2016, the BK 117 850 B2 joined, followed by Bell 412 and 212 in 2019. Safety focus earned awards in 2020 and 2022.

By 2023, HELISGI shifted to advanced Bell 407 GXP helicopters and ordered AW 09 units. They rebranded as “SGi,” aligning with expansion plans. SGi’s journey embodies resilience, innovation, safety, and service excellence.
